Another thing to keep in mind is that some insurance policies do offer coverage for out-of-network providers, though usually with a higher co-payment or co-insurance for the client. It’s always a good idea to thoroughly check your benefits with a customer service rep at your health insurance carrier.  Check the FAQ section for more information about the kinds of questions to ask when checking your benefits.

If you are using insurance to help pay for the therapy, it will be important to check your benefits carefully as you are ultimately responsible for the full cost of the therapy at my published rates.

I do offer insurance billing as a courtesy, meaning that I will submit your sessions to your insurance company for payment. If a service is not covered or paid for some reason, I will work with you to help get the issue sorted, but again, clients are still the responsible party for any billed services.
